WhiteOaks Halloween Blog

Halloween:  October 31st. is the most wonderful fun filled holiday ever!  It has been my favorite holiday all of my life.  I write a lot of Halloween Articles at a place called Squidoo.  During the Halloween Season, they have a special event where you can write lens on a SquidBOO Template and they have a special blog setup called Squidboo Blast!.   It is a lot of fun, spooky and people write about all kinds of things that has to do with Halloween!!  I mainly write about the paranormal, gothic and anything spooky that comes my way.  So this blog is going to be about my SquidBOO's in all of their different topics!

Please note:  The artwork on this blog either came from Photobucket or it is my own copyrighted images.

This lens has grown to great lengths since I first wrote it in 2008.  It has had close to 17,000 visits and is going strong.  I try my best to do interviews and list REAL PARANORMAL groups in the article to help people who are experiencing paranormal events in their own life.  It is horrible to live in a home especially when there are children and everyone is always stressed, scared and afraid.  The supernatural and paranormal are real, and sometimes people need help in ridding their homes of unwanted guest.

Do you like to walk in the woods late at night when the moon is full and everything you see in front of you appears to be in black and white?  Just let the old werewolf and vampire movies or the spooky eerie feeling of you being followed and watched by unseen entities?  This article is about different hauntings in the woods!

I decided to create a part two of my Scariest Places on Earth page because I wanted to highlight post that people have shared with me about their own hauntings.  This page is dedicated to all of you that have shared your stories.

Many people who are empathic have a hard time going to cemeteries because they feel the sadness from all of the hurtful emotions of people who have had to lay their loved ones to rest. To this very day, during Halloween when the veil between the worlds is very thin, I cannot even drive by a cemetery without becoming very emotional.  This photo came from Photobucket

The true question is this: Why are so many people drawn to spooky, haunted things? Have you ever thought about it? Why do we pay the money to go to haunted houses on Halloween? Why do we love to watch spooky movies, especially if they are based on true events? Oh, my goodness when I went to see "Texas Chainsaw" and read it was based on a true story, I freaked! Did I watch the movie yes, have I re-watched the movie? Yes!   This image came from Photobucket

As I write this lens, I too will be learning the difference between ghost and spirits. I know in general conversations when people speak about this subject, they will refer to ghost/spirit in the same context. Is there a difference? Let’s start here...This photo came from Photobucket
